Centene Corporation is a Fortune 500 publicly traded managed care company offering healthcare services through government-sponsored and private insurance programs. Their services include Medicaid, Medicare, the Health Insurance Marketplace, and TRICARE, with a focus on assisting under-insured and uninsured individuals, including those in correctional facilities.

I am the Communications Intern for Centene’s Texas subsidiary, Superior HealthPlan.

My responsibilities are to develop and assist with marketing, communications, and public relations efforts for the heath plan.

Create and draft internal communications including health communication related content.

Network and interact cross functionally across the many health plan departments to improve member outcomes.
