
Communications/Social Media Intern
During my time managing the TTPA social media I increased overall reach by 81%, interactions by 108%, link clicks by 209%, & followers by 33%.
Job Description: The TTPA communications/social media intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, assisting with brainstorming campaigns, writing
articles, and assisting with communications. To be successful as a communications/social media
intern you must have:
- Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms including but limited to: Facebook,
Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube. - Proficiency in making creative reels for Instagram and Facebook.
- Advertisement graphic design knowledge.
- Writing and editorial experience for articles and social media posts.
- Video and editing knowledge, including creating bumpers.
- Understanding on uploading videos to YouTube with descriptions.
- Photography experience.
Communication Responsibilities Include:
Helping create monthly newsletter as well as electronic and printed communications; Assisting with
various communication flows to parent/family members including sending TTPA information to be
included in communications by Parent & Family Relations and all TTU Colleges; Professionally
representing TTPA at events and TTPA programs; Ensuring accurate information and quality
support for our current and potential membership.
