The Daily Toreador, Texas Tech’s student-run newspaper. The DT, as it is known on campus, has never missed a scheduled day of publication since its inception in 1925. The student editorial and advertising staffs are responsible for all content within the paper and on the website. The newspaper also serves as a designated public forum for members of the campus community to voice their opinions free from administrative control or censorship.

I worked as a Photojournalist on the Multimedia Team. I went to many events on and off campus to capture photos for social media, the DT website, and news articles. I wrote headlines and cutlines for digital photo galleries and X (formerly known as Twitter). I held this position from January 2023 to October 2023, until I joined the Bullet Advertising Team.
